The steps for a $75-150 refund

Our treasurer will promptly mail you a PCR receipt (Form EP-3).  Then fill out a refund application form.

Complete the form (it takes about 2 minutes) and mail it along with the receipt (form EP-3). Mail anytime between now and mid-April next year.
DO NOT MAIL WITH YOUR INCOME TAX FORMS.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue will mail you a refund or make a direct deposit in approximately 2 to 6 weeks.

Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program is a great way for eligible voters to support candidates and parties while receiving a refund from the state.

As a Minnesota voter, you can donate to qualified state candidates or political parties in 2026. The state will refund your first $75 (or $150 for a married couple filing jointly) when you submit your receipt and application (by April 15, 2027).

It’s an easy, state-supported way to make your voice heard without any net cost to you.
